Competitive Sports

As part of the Physical Education Curriculum, one of the 4 main aims is for children to engage in competitive sports and competition. There are different levels of competitive sports as defined by the School Games organisation.

At Uplands our aim for Academic year 2017/2018 is to increase opportunities for our children to compete at both Level 1 and Level 2.

  • Level 1 involves school based competitions and events. These can range from class based to year based tournaments. These can also be as individual or team based activities.
  • Level 2 involves competing against other school.
