Learning outside the Classroom (Educational Visits)
The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) have put together examples of activities which schools could run.
Children at Uplands are provided different opportunities for Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC). Opportunities can vary from half day outings to 3 day / 2 night residential. |Govilon||7th - 9th July 2017||3 day / 2 night residential to Govilon in South Wales. Children from Year 5 and 6 will undertake a series of adventure based activities in the natural settings within the Brecon Beacons. Spaces are now filled.|

|PGL 2016||25th to 27th May 2016||3 day / 2 night residential to PGL Boreatton Park in Shrewsbury. PGL founded by Peter Gordon Lawrence offers a wide range of residential courses, designed to stimulate, educate and motivate primary school pupils.
